What's includedWhat Is Included in Preventive Drain Maintenance
Every preventive maintenance visit covers the core work that keeps your lines clear. Some services, like full sewer line replacement or major root removal beyond the lateral, are quoted separately. Here is what is included on a standard visit.
01✓
Sewer Camera Inspection
We run a sewer camera through your main line to check for root intrusion, scale buildup, bellied pipe, and cracked joints. You see the footage and get a written note on any defect we find. This is included on every maintenance visit.
02✓
Main Line Hydro Jetting
A sewer jetter hose scours grease, soap scum, and scale off the pipe walls at 3,000 to 4,000 PSI. We jet the full length of the accessible main line, not just the first 20 feet. Most residential lines take 45 minutes to an hour.
03✓
Fixture Drain Cleaning
We pull and clean the P-traps, pop-up assemblies, and drain grates on kitchen, bathroom, shower, and laundry fixtures. Hair clog and soap scum removal is included. This is where most slow drains start, and it is where we stop them.
04✓
Grease Trap Baffle Service
On commercial kitchen lines, we clean the grease trap baffles and check the outlet for grease carryover. Full pump-outs are scheduled separately based on trap size and kitchen volume. Baffle cleaning is included on every commercial maintenance visit.
05✓
Enzyme Drain Treatment
We pour enzyme drain cleaner into treated lines to break down organic buildup between visits. It is a slow-acting biological treatment that keeps grease and soap scum from re-accumulating as fast. Included on all residential maintenance plans.
06✓
Written Service Report
After every visit you get a written summary of what we found, what we cleared, and when to schedule the next service. If we found a problem that needs a separate repair, it is noted with the camera footage reference so you can plan for it.
